My good friend, long-time co-worker, and all-around awesome animator, Lyla Warren, has choosen one of the creatures of my book, Field Guide to Midwest Monsters to make into a sculpture. Here's her turnaround sketches of the friendly but bearhug giving, Cuptico-Calico. I can't wait to see him in gooey clay form.
