Giant Sushi Plate Attacks London

First Bigfoot and now this? Sweet.

A 28 foot long giant squid (Architeuthis dux) went on display at the British Natural History Museum yesterday! It was caught by fisherman off the Falkland Islands in March2004. I wonder what took them so long? Apparently it's the most intact specimen ever captured.

This pics are from the BBC article about it. Here's video from the Museum, detailing the process of preserving the monster.

Here's a pic of me with it, sharing an intimate moment. Actually I plan to see "Archie" as quickly as possible. I've never seen a giant squid with me own two eyes.
